Chairman of city committee People’s Democratic Party of Makassar (KPK PRD Makassar), Zainal Mappatoba to aktual.com revealed, it is time for the government to save the nation’s assets with the firm taking over PT Freeport.
Because the PT Freeport which already operates nearly fifty years have exploited the natural resources of Indonesia.
“It is very brightly against the interests of the Indonesian nation. PT Freeport should now be obey to the system of law in Indonesia,” he said.
Zaenal said, the government should firmly with illegal acts by PT Freeport as mandated by the Constitution and refers to the spirit of Trisakti, sovereign economically, politically sovereign, economically independent and personality in culture.
Likewise, the other PRD activists, Zainal Muttaqim said if during PT Freeport do many violations.
“One of them is the obligation smelter development over the in five years. In fact, until now there has never been built,” said Ade.
Ade also said that during this time the results of the Freeport cannot make people around PT FI prosperous, it is only benefits foreign parties.
