Jakarta, Aktual.com – The Commission Eradiction Corruption (KPK) could not resist revision of Law KPK when the time agreed upon between the government and Parliament.
As stated by the Coordinating Minister for Politics Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Jakarta, Friday (19/2).
“If the leadership of the Commission could not refuse, he carried out,” said Luhut.
Luhut explained that President Jokowi approving the revised Law of KPK and has sent a letter of approval of a revision to several laws to Parliament. Among them, the KPK Law, Terrorism Law and the Law on Tax Amnesty.
“The president has sent a (letter), so already there,” he explained.
Parliament previously twice postponed the plenary session of the determination of the revision of the Law Commission. Plenary Session which was originally held on Thursday (11/2), postponed to Thursday (18/2) yesterday. However, the absence of four leaders of the House resulted in a plenary return postponed to Tuesday (23/2) next week.
To note, the leadership of the Commission expressed its opposition to the revision of the Law Commission. This rejection is characterized by the absence of the entire leadership of the Commission in a meeting with Legislature Parliament to discuss the revision of the law on Thursday (4/2) then.
