Jakarta, Aktual.com – For accommodating and do the processing of waste, Jakarta Provincial plans to build a waste treatment facility in the city or Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF). The construction is planned to be devoted in the Market Master Kramat Jati.
“The governor already releasing land in the back for waste management,” said Vice Governor of Jakarta, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Wednesday (11/5).
Djarot said that the land area reached 3,600 square meters and is located right behind the Kramat Jati Market.
“Later, trash will be processed to produce energy with bio technology decomposer,” he said.
Furthermore Djarot said that with the construction of a waste management can provide good benefits for traders and buyers who are in the market.
“So the lights in the market will use that energy, can also be used to cook. Then the waste is used as fertilizer,” he said.
