President Jokowi said that the government prioritized the development of a number of areas either in Natuna, Morotai, Biak and Saumlaki-Selaru.
Commander explained prioritized development to begin in late 2016 and in 2017 should already exist a number of development in the region.
In addition, the government also needs to build a pier that can be visited by a number of ships of the Republic of Indonesia (KRI) to safeguard the waters.
He also said the government needs to add radar to monitor the area around the border area.
The President has held a closed meeting in Natuna on June 23, 2016 to discuss economic development in the island.
