Jakarta, Aktual.com – Commission VI of the House of Representatives approved the privatization of four state-owned enterprises by maintaining government ownership with state capital participation (PMN).
Decision taken in a meeting of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati Minister of SOEs together represent the House of Representatives Commission VI of the House of Representatives on Wednesday (24/8), nothing give a minimal stake in four companies were privatized.
The minimum requirements of the government’s stake, namely PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk amounting to 65.05 percent, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk 70 percent, PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk 80 percent, and PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk share of at least 51 percent.
While PMN given to PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk amounting to Rp 4 trillion, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk 1,25 trillion, PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Rp1.5 trillion, and PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk Rp2, 25 trillion.
Use of PMN given notes to use for SOE who receive priority government programs focused on the development of infrastructure and energy sovereignty, food sovereignty and survival of micro credit programs and SMEs.
Use of PMN also conducted supervision and audit by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and must not be used for program development speed train.
Representatives Commission VI also request to the minister to prioritize domestic products and local workers, synergy, and national contractors in the procurement of goods and services.
SOE Ministry is also required to make periodic reports to the VI Commission to supervise the implementation of the PMN. SOE who receive PMN also asked to make a “Business Plan”.
Commission VI will also form the Committee (Working Committee) Implementation Oversight PMN, 2016.
