Jakarta, Aktual.com – Jakarta governor candidate, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono argued Jakarta should be a model of inter-religious harmony and social solidarity so that be emulated by other regions in Indonesia.
“Jakarta can be a model for the whole of Indonesia, assuring religious harmony, social solidarity that we must empathize,” she said in Jakarta, Sunday night (9/10) .
According to him, a leader must be wise in dealing with pluralism because each group has a difference. When leaders focus on that difference, then the distance will be more, because of it need takes together to create the inclusive development.
“The spirit we as a state Pancasila, respect differences but not to be expressed without limits but must be mutual respect and appreciate.”
He said that Jakarta must become a modern city with characterized, in order to become community development that should not be forgotten.
“Modern but the character, so it must build a society which is characterized by the people of Jakarta. Happiness index should be considered.”
He emphasized that all decisions made should be breathing a red-and-white, so the decision should be above all parties.
