Jakarta, Aktual.com – Member of House Commission X Krisna Mukti said the low salaries of teachers into the old problems unresolved until now. In fact, the national budget for education the numbers are very large.
“Should the state budget is the biggest in the education sector, plus adding from the budget, the fate of the teachers should not be ignored,” said Krishna in Jakarta, written on Monday (16/5).
Commission X is overseeing education issues, on several occasions often get complaints from the public regarding the salary is not worthy of this teachers. Krisna assess this problem because of the lack of attention to the efforts of policy makers for the improvement of teachers.
“It has become a classic problem that occurred in almost every region in Indonesia because there are no high awareness of the stakeholders of education in their respective areas to pay attention fate of temporary teacher,” he explained.
He warned President Joko Widodo to give attention to the fate of the teacher. Namely by making inroads through the issuance of rules, for example through a Presidential Decree, so that the area is more concerned about the teacher.
“The president should come in addressing the fate of these teachers by making the regulation (Presidential Decree), which requires each region to make the best possible policies for improvement of the honorary teachers of this,” said Krishna.
