Jakarta,Aktual.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held a joint meeting with a delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday (12/2).

A number of ministers who accompanied the president in the meeting, among others, National Development Planning Minister Sofyan Djalil and Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro.

ADB President Takehiko Nakao together delegates arrived at the presidential palace at around 9:10 pm.

Previously, Takehiko on Thursday (11/2) yesterday, has met with Vice President Jusuf Kalla to offer to the Government of Indonesia an increase in the number of loan funds for infrastructure development in the country.

The loan funds provided by ADB to the Government of Indonesia has increased since 2014 reached 710 million US dollars to 1.5 billion dollars in 2015.

“We want to support development in Indonesia not only in infrastructure, but also in education, banking and private sector,” said Takehiko.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Development Funding National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Wismana Adi Suryabrata said that the new scheme offered ADB different from the three previous scheme, the result-based lending, direct loans (direct lending), and loans conventional.
