Jakarta, Aktual.com – Hundreds of fishermen and the Coalition to Save the Jakarta Bay will be rally rejecting Jakarta Bay Reclamation in front of the City Council, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (1/3).
The protests later addressing the city council plans to hold a plenary session to endorse two draft local regulations allegedly to pave the Jakarta Bay reclamation project.
In a press release received Aktual.com, the Coalition considers Approval of the draft law and RTR Strategic Area RZWP3K Pantura a betrayal to the citizens of Jakarta fishermen. Because it is a rule for accomodation reclamation project in the Bay of Jakarta.
Rally will be held at 11.00. Followed by the various organs of the unity of the Indonesian Traditional Fishermen (KNTI) Jakarta, Muara Angke Fishermen Harmony Forum, Women’s Solidarity, LBH Jakarta, ICEL, WALHI, and PBH Wallet Dhuafa.
