Jakarta, Aktual.com – The government’s plan in this case the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) to revise the Law on Mineral and Coal Mining (Minerba) is justified by the House of Representatives (DPR) RI.
Chairman of Commission VII of the House of Representatives, Gus Irawan Pasaribu said the current Law on Oil and Gas and Mining indeed been entered in the National Legislation Program (Prolegnas).
“Regarding the Law on Oil and Gas (Migas) and Mineral and Coal Mining (Minerba) that was already in the National Legislation Program,” said Gus Irawan in the event of a public discussion Alumni Corps of the Muslim Students Association (KAHMI) in KAHMI Centre, Jakarta, Tuesday (23/2).
However, Gus Irawan said, related to the discussion and revision of the Law on Oil and Gas and Mining, to date has not received a commission VII academic texts about the direction and future energy concepts, including the matter of the Energy Security Fund (DKE).
“We’ve had three times asked, but Minister not proceed until now. So until now has not received the commission VII concept, including the matter of DKE,” he said.
Thus, according to Gus Irawan, until recently members of House Commission VII do not know the future direction of development EFD.
“The point of course we will continue to see from the side, how the Oil, Gas and Mining Law was later encouraged to pro-people,” he said.
