Jakarta, Aktual.com – President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Dwi Soetjipto said oil inventories during the month of Ramadan (fasting) will not be in crisis because it had to do calculations and preparation over the years in an effort to anticipate them.
He estimates there will be a surge in consumption of about 18 to 20 percent of normal demand conditions, but he said he would provide a reserve of up to 20 days.
“If this has been for many years and we stayed improve operational level if there is jammed and others, but we will always keep around 20 days of operational reserves. Then we anticipated an increase of 18 to 20 percent depending on the type of fuel,” Dwi said in Jakarta, Sunday (15/5).
As known, the fuel consumption PERTAMAX variants continue to experience significant increases. Until April 2016, Pertamina recorded absorption percentage of fuel type Pertamax gasoline reached 13.7 percent.
Then type 92 octane fuel also increased consumption of 8 thousand KL per day to 10 KL thousand per day.
Meanwhile for the absorption of fuel types Pertalite also showed an increase that up to April consumption has reached 600 thousand KL.
