Jakarta, Aktual.com – President Joko Widodo considered not enough to just remove Arcandra Tahar only from the position of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
Given Arcandra status as United States citizens, Jokowi also have to do the examination and make sure he was not in a position to be a foreign tool to undermine the sovereignty of Indonesia in the field of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The opinion was delivered by the Chairman of the Joint Secretariat of the People (Joint Secretariat) Mixilmina Munir. Because, according to him, although the new 20-day work served as minister, Arcandra allegedly been privy to many countries, particularly in the fields of Energy and Mineral Resources.
“In fact (Arcandra) is Citizens of United States within 20 days of this has served as a minister in a sovereign state, namely Indonesia,” he said, in a written statement in Jakarta, Monday (15/8).
Although served in a short time, Arcandra already many times met with President Jokowi, received so many directions and instructions and made several measures. “I’m sure Arcandra also met with CEOs of big companies so associated with ESDM.”
Thus, according to him, Arcandra had pocketed so much information and the confidentiality of the country, assets, and so forth.
Mixilmina also argued Arcandra should be examined carefully and prevented from going to the United States. Until it is certain the issue with Indonesia have been completed and there are no policies that harm Indonesia.
“We can not imagine what if it turns out within 20 days Arcandra have a lot to take the information and state secrets related to ESDM and then back to the United States to bring its interests,” he said.
