Yogyakarta, Aktual.com – The last three months, from June to August 2016 was revealed 102 drug cases in the jurisdiction of Police of Yogyakarta. The number of suspects is 111 peoples, consisting of 98 men and 13 women.
Deputy Director of the Drug Investigation Division Superintendent Yogyakarta Baron Wuryanto said the suspect status consist of six college student, three students, 46 private persons, housewives one person, one person police members and a civil servant.
“The results assessment of National Narcotics Agency Province (BNNP) DIY, 59 of whom are users and 52 dealers,” he said, during a press conference at Police Headquarters DIY, Tuesday (6/9).
The evidence had been secured by the Yogyakarta police and staff is the organic drug in the form of marijuana weighing 263.8 grams, then in the form of synthetic drugs such as both methamphetamine and ecstasy weighing 21 grams and 10 grains.
“The quantity is quite high, although the quality of the (drug cases) successfully revealed was not quite significant,” he said.
As a result of their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 114 and Article 112 Constitution No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics.
According to Baron, Polda DIY and BNNP continues to take open and closed operations in the evening entertainment until boarding house to uncover cases of drug trafficking.
“In the environment of the boarding house, we continue operating because every year there is always the perpetrators of drug abusers from among the students,” he said.
