Jakarta, Aktual.com – Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Juri Ardiantono confirms will give sanction incumbent candidate Basuki Purnama Tjahaja alias Ahok if no obligations to leave during the campaign period.
“Do not live liabilities, certainly get sanction. All is not so,” said Juri Ardiantono to the KPU office, Central Jakarta, Monday (15/8).
Nevertheless, the rules on sanctions did not undergo the obligations incumbent candidate took time off the campaign has so far not decided to put in a clause in the Commission regulation.
According to him, so far it only stipulates that the incumbent is required to leave for a three-month campaign period under Article 70 of Law 10/2016 on the local elections (elections) simultaneously.
