Ratusan ribu umat Islam dari berbagai elemen yang tergabung dalam Gerakan Bela Islam melakukan aksi unjuk rasa ke Bareskrim Polri,Gambir, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (14/10/2016). Dalam aksinya Gerakan Bela Islam mendesak Bareskrim Polri segera menetapkan tersangka kepada Gubernur DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahja Purnama (Ahok) dalam kasus penistaan Agama.

Jakarta, Aktual.com – Jakarta Governor Basuki Purnama Tjahaja or Ahok claim can not conclude the substantive purpose of demonstration that done by Muslims who members of various organizations today.

Ahok see the demonstrators want him to go to jail so he could not follow the election in 2017.

“The purpose is only that, how can Ahok go to jail, (so) do not join the elections,” said Ahok at Jakarta City Hall, Friday (14/10).

In fact, Muslims not only ask that, but also in action, the followers of Islam ask Ahok not arbitrary in speaking.

Because according to them, the last words of Ahok increasingly out of control.in fact, his statements offensive and sparked public outcry in Indonesia, which is a very high level of plurality.

The statement sparked Muslim anger. Ahok was immediately reported to the authorities, and charged under Article 156 of the Criminal Code, in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (2) of the Constitution (Act) No. 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).

Where, according to Article 156 of the Criminal Code stated: “Whoever publicly stating hostility, hatred or contempt towards something or some residents of the state of Indonesia received prison sentences to five years.”

Whereas Article 28 paragraph (2) ITE Act reads: “Any person who willfully and without the right to disseminate information intended to cause hatred or hostility individual and / or a particular group of people based on ethnicity, religion, race and inter-group (SARA).”
