Jakarta, Aktual.com – Until now, the Government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has not issued an export license extension recommendation concentrate to PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI). Whereas export licenses PT FI already expired at the end of January.
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources reasoned, did not permit the issuance of letters of recommendation because until now PT FI has not bail smelter construction to the government.
However, according to Director General of Mineral and Coal Mining (Mining) Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bambang Gatot Ariyono, there is no time limit ‘deadline’ given to PT FI for the submission of a deposit guarantee fund for the USD530 million.
“As long as the funds have not been submitted, the concentrate export license has expired on January 28, 2016 set will not be issued, but the time limit we have not been set,” said Bambang Gatot when met at the Commission VII of the House of Representatives, on Wednesday (3/2 ).
However, according to Bambang, in principle during these requirements have not been met by the PT FI, the government will not issue a permit.
“So the principle that,” said Bambang.
