Denpasar, Aktual.com – Nyepi is interest for a number of parties who want to feel it. A number of tourists were flocking to vacation in Bali ahead of Nyepi which starts on Wednesday, March 9th at 6:00 pm until Thursday, March 10 at 06.00 pm.
One of them was Andrew Collins, tourists from Australia. Andrew came with five of his colleagues specifically for vacation in Bali. “I arrived three days ago in Bali. This is the first year I celebrate Nyepi in Bali. I want to feel it,” Andrew said when met still shopping for food in a shopping center Tiara Dewata Denpasar, on Tuesday (8/3).
In line with Andrew, his partner Juliet admitted to intentionally come to Bali to enjoy the thrill of a day without pollution in Bali. “I came to Nyepi. Naturally I was interested in silence when in the rest of the world is busy with the bustle of the world,” he added.
To really feel the Nyepi, Juliet, Andrew and his colleagues deliberately moved to a boarding house in Denpasar region. They were initially staying at a luxury hotel at Jalan Kartika Plaza, Kuta.
“We all moved into a boarding house near here. We want to enjoy the solemn stillness of the night while contemplation. We want to give time for the earth to breathe,” he explained.
Some hotels do provide Nyepi packages each year. The tour packages of Nyepi becaming promo used as a platform to attract tourists. Not a few of their holiday to Bali specifically to feel Nyepi is celebrated the day of the year.
