Jakarta, Aktual.com – PT State Electricity Company (PT PLN) said in 2016 would invest between 70 to 80 trillion, to support the development of electricity infrastructure.
Managing Director (CEO) of PT PLN Sofyan Basir said the investment will be allocated to support the development of infrastructure and power transmission.
“So the total is around 70 to 80 trillion, the fund is for transmission and generator capacity. if to add I forgot how to generators, but if for all yes about like that,” the minister said on the sidelines of a meeting in the House of Representatives Commission VI on Tuesday, (23/2).
He said this investment is much greater than last year. For the construction of the transmission or the network will be 10 times more. Sofyan said that the share of the largest investment this year is for the construction of transmission.
“Last year it was in 2014 (the construction of transmission) only for 900 KM, now about 9000 KM, this tenfold, when in 2015 I do not know exactly, because now each region there is a new director, I’ll still be calculated.”
He said he is optimistic that the 35000 MW project planned by the government of Jokowi-JK will run smoothly. He also claimed to be fully supported so that all areas will be electricity.
“God willing, 35000 MW project is smoothly, prayed for it,” he said.
