Denpasar, Aktual.com – Discourse ‘full day School’ (FDS) which was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy opposed by Udayana University Rector Prof. Ketut Suastika.
According to him, the discourse FDS not yet implemented in Indonesia and took a long time to prepare a Human Resources (HR) and infrastructure before implementing the program.
“We need to take decades to prepare human resources and infrastructure to implement the program. Ideally schools should prepare proper circumstances such as at home, in the community, though still guided or fixed in the guidance of teachers,” said Suastika in Denpasar, on Thursday (11/8).
In addition to problems of human resources and infrastructure, land representative is also an obstacle implement full-day school program. There are no schools in Indonesia which has a representative field, so as to make students feel at home in school.
This will affect students at home or not linger at the school. “The area has a narrow school, how children were told to day at school. It needs to be prepared by the well,” advises Suastika.
Moreover, specifically for primary and secondary school students needed a touch like real parents themselves. It is psychologically very important for students to apply to the program. Another reason he refused FDS program because the students also have the right to gather with family and the environment around them.
