Cirebon, Aktual.com – Line Pantura Cirebon, West Java, was paralyzed cause the blockade of hundreds of demonstrators from the Kanci Kulon citizens who reject power plant (PLTU) 1 Cirebon.
The demonstrators ask to close the power plant for polluting the environment. Not only that they also ask for sealing it.
Head of Traffic Unit Cirebon Police Superintendent Raditiya Galih Bayu said the action by the demonstrators resulting in congestion.
“We do contraflow to unravel congestion in the Pantura line exactly in front of the PLTU 1 Cirebon,” said Galina, Monday (10/10).
Meanwhile, protestors not only block the Pantura road, they also do a burning tire. They ask to meet directly with the management of PLTU 1 Cirebon.
They request that was met by high officials of the PLTU 1. Until now, long traffic jams have been occurring so congestion reaches four kilometers.
