Jakarta, Aktual.com – Head of Bulog regional Southeast Sulawesi (Sulawesi) Laode Amijaya Kamaluddin said premium rice Sultra widely circulated to the East Java.
“Many businessmen from East Java who came to buy rice or grain our farmers, then taken and branding as a product of East Java and then sold into the market,” said Kamaluddin Amijaya in Kendari, Sunday (18/9).
Rice Sultra packed well into the premium rice by businessman East Java and then resold to Sultra with expensive price.
“Our rice is not only outstanding in East Java, but also in South Sulawesi cause many entrepreneurs buy local rice farmers are then brought to South Sulawesi.”
Currently, Amijaya said, Bulog Sultra has begun marketing premium rice Sultra branding with local names, rice Konawe in Anoa Mekongga in Anoa stamp.
Bulog Regional Division Sultra premium rice brand marketing targeting Anoa 2,500 tons by the end of 2016.
Actually, the stock Bulog said Amijaya, not limited to farmers’ production levels because the mapping in the field is consumed by people mostly Mekongga varieties and varieties Konawe, but because there just started marketing the basic target.
“Rice is a type of rice Anoa brand premium local produce of the area, while the word Anoa unique to Southeast Sulawesi,” he said.
