Jakarta, Aktual.com – It seems, in the near future, Indonesia will have a sophisticated jet fighter aircraft made in nation’s children. PT Dirgantara Indonesia in Bandung, West Java, will produce fighter jets Fighter Indonesia, Fighter Xperiment (IFX) 4.5 Generation, in which the process of the development of sophisticated technologies already do.

“This year we made a ‘prototype’ and to test airworthy,” said President Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Budi Santoso, told reporters recently.
The aircraft manufacturing is the result of collaboration between PT DI with Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI). PT DI will finance about 20 percent of the funds the manufacture of aircraft and the rest borne by KAI.
‘Prototype’ plane was designed in South Korea. Besides being used in the country, fighter jets will be sold to another country.
