“Entering this new year we expect the economy is stable, more prosperous and security in Bali, the better,” said Chairman II of the Board Monestary Darmayana Kuta, Luwih Berata encountered in Kuta, Badung, Monday (8/2).
According to him, the new year according to the Chinese calendar is known as the year of the Monkey Fire.
He explained that the monkey is said to be an animal that has a lively and creative nature with the group but sometimes monkey “mischievous” swiftly move from one place to another.
To that, he added, the Fire Monkey year is expected that all elements of society to work together for the welfare and freedom.
“We must realize the solidarity through cooperation so that stability of economic could be happen,” he said.
Meanwhile, in temple that is known restored first time in 1873, hundreds of Chinese citizens to worship Lunar. By using incense, solemn people do worship, pray for the safety and welfare of the gods.
Luwih explained in a monastery located in the middle of the tourist area of Kuta was consists of 150 families who settled in the local area, Nusa Dua and Denpasar.
