Jakarta, Aktual.com – The government’s efforts in encouraging society to reduce reliance on the use of fuel oil (BBM) continue to be improved.

Through the conversion program fuel to gas, the government is targeting the construction of gas networks (Jargas) attached as many as 200 thousand households in the year 2017.

This target has increased as much as 111 thousand households of this year amounted to 89 thousand.

In this regard, it is known that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) this year has received the budget allocated for the construction of infrastructure projects of gas network in six cities through the state budget amounting to Rp1.181 trillion.

Wirat said the budget will be used to build networks in 6 cities namely Tarakan, Surabaya, Batam, Prabumulih, Cilegon, and Balikpapan.
