Jakarta, Aktual.com – Minister of the Interior (Mendagri) Tjahjo Kumolo led the ceremony of National Education Day at Field of Ministry of Interior Monday (2/5). In his speech, as inspector of the ceremony, he stressed the key advancement of the nation is in education.
“Improving the quality of human resources is determined from the role of government, institutional, community and ourselves in improving the knowledge and discipline while on duty,” said Tjahjo.
The spirit of National Education Day should continue ‘light’ to continue to improve the quality of human resources. For the moment, Indonesia is considered to have entered the era of regional competition, even globally.
All this depends on the readiness of each individual in the face of this competition. Tjahjo reminded that the whole ministry and staffs improve performance and productivity.
“Under the direction of the President, the duties and functions of Ministry of Internal Affairs is to serve the people, educating and supporting them to the ranks of the Home Affairs Ministry,” he explained.
“Now how do we accelerate efforts to reform the bureaucracy for the sake of giving out the best service to the people,” said Tjahjo.
