Surabaya, Aktual.com – Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini protested hundreds of sellers of Turi Market. They protested Risma to demand promises to put the market sellers of old Turi Market to new building of Turi market.
Post-Fire Recovery Team Leader (TPPK) Turi Market, Kiemas A Chalim said their arrival just to claim the promise of Risma.
“For the first Mrs Risma ever promised to put us into a new Turi Market and sell. But until now we have not been able to enter. Whereas Pasar Turi 18th officially opened tomorrow,” he said in Surabaya on Wednesday (16/3).
Kiemas said, currently there are over 3,000 old Turi Market sellers who can not get in and sell in the new building. Though they claimed to have paid stand.
Separately, General Manager of new Turi Market, Tedy Supriyadi instead pleaded not to be too responsive of action old Turi Market sellers. Because he was already doing duty as the agreement with the City Government of Surabaya. Instead he doubted if the traders were protesting the right of Turi Market.
“They are only a little fraction of demonstration. If admitted as a selllers, sellers which one?” He said.
