Lampung, Aktual.com – East Lampung Police Superintendent Harseno stated that the current situation in the Village District of Labuhan Maringgai Margasari is conducive following mass rioting by fishermen in the district who refused sea sand mining.
“It is true that there was a misunderstanding, but the current situation is conducive, it is true community rejected marine sand mining by PT Sejati 555 Nuswantara Sejahtera,” said Superintendent Harseno at the scene Margasari Village East Lampung regency, on Thursday (11/8) night.
He said, in anticipation of further action a number of members of the police have been deployed at the scene.
“In principle we are situational, our Security Alert is open and closed,” she said.
He explained that this was not a conflict of society, but their misunderstandings between society and the rejection action fishing communities on the sea sand mining plan in their region.
Chief of Police confirmed that no citizen who was detained by police over the incident. “Currently there are no citizens were detained,” he also stressed.
