Jakarta, Aktual.com – Vice Chairman of Commission XI of the Parliament, Achmad Hafisz Thohir assess super holding of SOE is a very dangerous step.
“It’s against the law,” said Hafisz, in Jakarta, Monday (5/9).
Hafisz admits the idea of super holding is being urgently needed amid a less than optimal performance of SOE today. However, the support device must also be considered as supporting the idea.
According to him, the idea of super holding no problem along with the appropriate rules. However, the necessary legal enforcement because without legal protection, the violation will occur.
“Must prepare the law, I mean that. If no law so that break the rules,” he explained.
Hafisz asserted, if the super holding implemented monitoring function, Parliament also needs to be strengthened. The function should be included in the new law.
The possibility of holding a super idea stuck because the financial condition of SOEs that are not performance. Therefore, the SOE finance capacity is small. Even if there is a shot of national capital participation, it has not been able to achieve the desired capital if the infrastructure is really going to be encouraged.
“More over, the position of debt SOEs is as same as and equity. So that its capacity needs to be expanded. Well if so then the holding could be used as one solution,” said PAN politicians.
Former Chairman of House VI Commission also reminds government shareholding position should remain majority if the idea of a super holding accomplished.
