Jakarta, Aktual.com – Former Coordinating Minister maritime Rizal Ramli said he was disappointed with the demolition of Aquarium Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, the Jakarta government without compensation.
It said while visiting residents of Aquarium Village on Sunday (7/8) night. On this occasion, he handed over the fate of the people to God and hope for the best solution.
“We submit to Allah, God Almighty. God has his own ways to punish those who do wrong,” said Rizal.
Although the land belongs to the state, but said the province should show a sense of justice to give compensation to citizens.
“Residents here forty years (living), the United Nations paid annually (Property Tax), future can indemnity altogether. Were told to move to a flat that is far away, there is no livelihood. He said thi is Pancasila country, a country of justice, but in fact is totally unfair,” he explained.
Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), said Rizal, should be able to build Jakarta without oppressing the common people. But in reality, displacing Ahok using military and police forces, which would make the military’s image being damaged.
“He said the brave. How dare the same people, the same developers did not dare,” said Rizal.
